THEN  WE  PARTED - a feature length film script of 106 minutes

The LOG LINE: The struggle with retrieving and accepting memory with its unique ramifications is paramount. The narrative of this adaptation of the novel "Straw Man" unfolds as a detective story with twisting turns of decision making and fact finding.

The STORY and STORY LINE:
As a love story it may be described as intellectually romantic. Acceptance of memory is consistent, as the protagonist repeatedly sets it aside only to find that it is necessary. Being in his fifties he is now able to reflect on both the negative and positive controls set forth by his female loves, his relatives, and his long term friends.
The love interest is shown to experience Dissociative Identity Disorder symptoms (DID. or Multiple Personalities) as the story evolves around coping with her personal history, her resulting actions and her final hospitalization. The ultimate form of rationalization is shown to be forgetting, and then carrying on as if that inflicted hurt did not exist.
The PLOT LINE: Flashbacks of childhood brutality occur in dealing with Dissociative Systemized Amnesia and the following attempt to get on with life. "Tony" must first realize that amnesia existed by way of flashbacks and he doesn't know if he is sane until the last scenes. Tony needed to believe that he was insane with false memories, or – sane with accepting the memories.
The SUBPLOT: A first step in its treatment is the retrieval of lost memories, followed by a self-reflective process relative to life choices of both vocation and relationships. The individual of the storyline has been somewhat controlled throughout his life and only comes to the full realization of this through the process. Exploring the realm of Hypnotherapy and Psychology, the storyline is nonfiction and it does have a happy ending. These types of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder have only been defined within the last two decades. The past has seen less academic stories of Multiple Personalities, however, this script provides both love conflicts and change in lifestyle patterns - at a very interesting and credible level. ©

ANNE  AND  JEAN - an exciting Canadian feature length film script

The LOG LINE: Danger, adventure and the unknown are a part of the life of Jean Pelletier as he leaves France in 1641 at fourteen years old and begins his life in Canada. It presents his ongoing struggle, as that of being fulfilled with being an artist, versus being a farmer - and Anne's unusual marriage at thirteen to him.
       The STORY LINE:
Seventeenth century mythology, the controls and rigidity of the Catholic Church, along with daily fears of the unknown, are incorporated throughout with ongoing subtlety. In a youth of adult responsibility, both Jean and Anne's obedience to church and family is consistent, however, the story evolves through Jean's struggles with being an artist in a land of rugged toil and Anne's determination to produce a large family. Jean becomes known throughout the two regions for his pottery, but is tied to the land as a farmer, father and obedient son. Twenty-first century perceptions create an opportunity to revisit a story of history in a manner never before shown.
The PLOT LINE: Contrary to most writings about early New France, this script is written by a Western Canadian, hence a varied outlook as compared. The story is based on fact and documented history, albeit documents showing the negative impact on Jean and Anne, as they are used as pawns by both church and state. This adaptation of the novel titled, "Anne And Jean" is also available for production in French.

LIFE'S  THIRD  QUARTER - A  MUSICAL - the music, the lyrics and the book

The LOG LINE: This is a musical with a very positive presentation of our life cycle as having gained one extra quarter of its total. With change in life style being a primary focus, the musical play is evocative of the assumption that this is a creative third quarter, rather than that of merely gaining additional elderly years.
The SCENARIO: A musical romantic comedy about divorce, adjustment to mid-life and the reuniting of two high school sweethearts. It is an adaptation from the musical play and takes place in the Gulf Islands of the Pacific Coast. This is a low budget film as the three scenes are easily shot in existing natural scenery with one cabin sequence.
The PLOT LINE: Life, even after fifty, is not without issues, and as in any of the comicality, the sentimental is more profound, and of greater relevant substance, when taken from the family problems of real life. A mature age group will identify with the premise that not only have we all statistically been granted an extra one quarter of life to enhance our 21st century lifestyle, we've been given a second chance.
The SUBPLOT: The music sets forth the premise that this is a time to live and love - again - in this, our life's third quarter. Optional music is included from the original one and one-half hour musical play. ©

NIGHT  DANCES - a feature length film script

The LOG LINE: The human experiences of relationships not quite being what they seem to be, are in unique and creative story forms, evocative of characters know to many.
       The STORY LINE:
Thirteen stories of love, sex, loneliness, control, usury, ego and self, are all presented with linking common denominators of worthiness. Safe Haven, Terrified Bride, Wedding Exorcism, Woman Of A Straw Clan, A European Love, Little Secrets, Pride, A Flickering Lamp, Narcissistic Loves, Church Dances, Circular Journey, Sid Canada Smith, and Robbie Phallic McGinnis - are both comedy and drama.
The PLOT: A common thread of decadence is shown, coupled with a positive exploration for love and an understanding of the search for wholeness of self. © Lonnie P. Pelletier 2008.

500  YEARS  - an exciting Canadian feature length film script

The LOG LINE: The lives of the Pelletier descendants evolve from the 15th century through to the 20th century, showing the history of Canada as entertainment.
The STORY LINE: The moves of the family coincide with the beginnings of early settlements and the challenges of those pioneering areas. The stories of these individuals are both stand alone chronicles and a reflection of history leading into the future. The chronicles are about love, adventure, and challenge with a balance of the realism of frustration and failure.
The PLOT: Canadian civilization and culture has evolved and expanded, in spite of often ridiculous administrative control by both church and state. ©

HISTORY NOW is a completed editing and shooting script for a documentary. The exclusive rights have now been sold. The premise is that ancient sites and art may be shown to be rebuilt or restored beyond that which may be called authentic. That which was original is often changed to being merely a simulated antique. The repercussions of tourism changing due to changing presentations of history is explored. The locations of Paris, France, the Galapagos Islands of Ecuador, Tuscany in Italy, Ephesus, Turkey, Port-Royal, Nova Scotia, Canada, the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, Bavarian Germany, Luzern, Switzerland and Ubar at the south-eastern tip of the Arabian peninsula - are all explored in this contemporary video series. © Lonnie P.
